The métro station Arts-et-Métiers (lines 3 & 11) is around the corner, but you would prefer to walk - max 15 minutes, and you reach: the Pompidou Center, Hotel de Ville (City Hall), Jewish, Picasso and Carnavalet Museums, rue des Rosiers and the old Jewish neighbourhood, rue des Francs Bourgeois upscale shopping street, place des Vosges, Chatelet les Halles shopping mall, Notre Dame and Ile de la Cité, the Seine, ... and of course all the bars, restaurants and clubs for which the Marais is so famous. Or walk further northwards, and you are at République and Oberkampf, another nightlife top spot.

With the métro or a bike, the rest of Paris with all its attractions is only minutes away.
