This 25m² studio (270 sqm) for 2 persons is situated 58 rue de Rochechouart, in the 9th arrondissement. It is part of a building built in 1850 by Napoleon III and is considered as the first « philantropic garden suburb » built in France. Because of its historical interest it is a classified historical building.
The flat is composed of a kitchenette opening on the living space, a bathroom (shower and wc), and a small laundry (washing maching and storage).
It is on the second floor, facing East (the morning sun, the best !), opening on a vast courtyard planted with tree with and old fountain at the center.
Completely renovated in February 2009, it's a very charming, cosy and functional place.
The famous Sacré-Coeur (Holly Heart church) and the lively Montmartre area are at 5 min walking distance, and the Parisian cabarets area (the Moulin Rouge, the Crazy Horse) at 10 min.
A supermaket for all necessary grocery shopping is at 150m.
Metro access : the Anvers station (ligne 2) is at 2 min walking, the Cadet station (ligne 7) at 6 min.
Bus : we are on teh route of the bus 85 (direction North/South)
The Gare du Nord (direct access to Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport by RER B) is 15 min away.
